A photoblog and a gallery

My name is Alain, I'm 31, I currently live in Paris and I love photography.

In these few pages you will find some of the pictures I took during the travels I made these past years. I've always tried my best to capture the mood of the place I have visited, or at least the way I perceived it.

I expect the number of pictures to grow slowly but steadily : most of my material is on slide film and transferring it to digital media takes a little time. Please come back here often to check for updates!

Purists will not call this website a real photoblog nor a real gallery. I guess it's something in between.

Site information

Everything on this website is home made, including the software that runs it! This photoblog engine was completely written from scratch in C and uses XML to store its data: no SQL or PHP was harmed in this project! ;-)
So there might be a few remaining bugs in these pages. If you find one please drop me a line.

You may however use all pictures that are posted in this photoblog as you like as long as you provide clear credit to the author and/or a clear link to this website, as described more precisely in the Contrat Creative Commons(in French)/ Creative Commons Contract(in English).
