I spent new year's eve in Marrakech in 2004, after attending a friend's wedding in Casablanca. While Casablanca is a modern city drowned in traffic jams, Marrakech remains quite an interresting city despite being overfload with tourists and storekeepers desperate to attract them in their little money traps ;-)
